Dear Customers,
Hope you’re doing great!
Zoho share a bunch of helpful updates to the Reports module in Zoho CRM, which are now live and ready for you to explore.
Option to Show or Hide Record ID in Exported Reports
Until now, when a report was exported, the record IDs were always included by default. While these IDs can sometimes serve as useful identifiers, they’re often unnecessary for many business workflows. To give you more control, Zoho've updated this behavior.
Now, whenever you export, email, or schedule a report, you’ll see a checkbox labeled Show record ID column. You can choose whether or not to include these IDs.
Please Note:
For previously scheduled reports, this setting will be enabled by default, showing only the primary module’s record IDs.
For detailed, scheduled, or formatted report exports, checking this option includes just the record IDs of the main module.
If you want to display record IDs from related modules, you can simply edit the report and add those ID columns manually.
View Currency Fields in Original Record Currency
Until now, currency fields in reports were automatically displayed in the home currency, regardless of the original transaction’s currency. With the new update, you now have the flexibility to view values in both the record’s original currency and the home currency by selecting the appropriate columns in the report settings.

Track Report Deletion in Audit Logs
When a report is deleted, it’s first moved to the Recently Deleted folder before being permanently erased. Earlier, only permanent deletions were recorded in the Audit Log.
Now, both soft and permanent deletions are logged. For example:
If a report is deleted:
“Harriet Nicholson Deleted a Report named Account contribution.”
If it’s permanently deleted:
“Harriet Nicholson Permanently Deleted a Report named Account contribution from Recently Deleted.”
While the Recently Deleted folder keeps items for up to 30 days, the Audit Log tracks these actions for up to three years, helping admins keep a close eye on report activities.
That’s a wrap on the latest improvements to Zoho CRM Reports. These enhancements are available for users across all data centers. More updates coming your way soon!
