Zoho POS 2026 Update: Latest Features and Improvements

Welcome to Zoho POS’s monthly update, where we highlight the latest features, improvements, and updates. Let’s see what’s new in March.

Zoho POS Android App with Arabic and RTL Support  

Zoho POS has launched its Android app for the Saudi Arabia edition.

The app now includes:

  • Full Arabic interface

  • Right-to-left (RTL) support

  • Additional language options like English and French

You can also print invoices in Arabic, English, or both. The system supports both left-to-right (LTR) and right-to-left (RTL) formats, making it suitable for different business needs.

The app is available on the Google Play Store.


Register-Based Item Mapping in Register Profiles (Beta)  

Earlier, register profiles allowed you to customize settings such as payments, customers, sales, and sessions for each register.

Now, a new update lets you assign specific items to each register.

You can:

  • Create register profiles with selected items

  • Assign these profiles to different registers

  • Control which items are available at each register

Once a profile is applied, only the mapped items and selected settings will be visible in that register.

Imagine you manage a supermarket with multiple locations, all sharing the same inventory but serving different customers.

  • One store mainly sells groceries and accepts limited payment methods

  • Another focuses more on electronics and toys

  • A third location sells everything and supports all payment options

With register profiles, you can set up each store differently by assigning relevant items and settings. This helps each location operate more efficiently based on its needs.


Generate KOTs from the Zoho POS iOS App (Beta)  

A Kitchen Order Ticket (KOT) is important for businesses like cafes, bakeries, and restaurants. It helps send order details from billing to the kitchen.

A KOT usually includes:

  • Order ID

  • Items ordered

  • Quantity

  • Order time

This feature reduces manual work and helps avoid mistakes in order preparation.

With this update, KOT generation is now supported in both Windows and iOS applications.
