Zoho has now simplified this process by improving holiday planning inside Zoho Desk.
Earlier, companies used a recurring holiday list.
That worked fine for fixed-date holidays like:
Christmas
New Year
But some holidays change every year (like festivals or religious events).
Those had to be manually edited every single year.
Result:
Incorrect business hours
Wrong SLA calculations
Tickets marked overdue even during holidays

1) Year-Specific Holiday Lists
Now you can create holiday calendars for the current year and the next two years in advance.
This means:
You can add changing-date holidays beforehand
No need to edit the calendar every year
Your system automatically respects the correct holiday dates

Multiple holiday lists in business hours
Until now, only one holiday list could be associated with your business hours, up to two holiday lists can be mapped, giving you greater flexibility to manage multiple holiday calendars with ease.
