Zoho Desk Mobile App Now Supports 'Send as Email' on iOS

Hello everyone!

Zoho announced share that the latest version (v2.10.2) of the Zoho Desk iOS app now includes support for the 'Send as Email' option when creating a ticket. This feature allows you to send outbound emails directly to customers, and each email will be automatically logged as a ticket for easy tracking and follow-up.

How to enable this feature:
Before you start using 'Send as Email,' make sure it’s activated on the Zoho Desk desktop site (desk.zoho.com) by following these steps:

  1. Click on the Setup icon (gear symbol) on the desktop site.

  2. Go to Customization.

  3. Select General Settings.

  4. Turn on the Send as Email option.

  5. Choose the Departments you want and click Save.

Sync the changes manually:
After enabling it, you’ll need to perform a manual sync in the mobile app to apply the updates. Here’s how:

  1. Launch the Zoho Desk app.
  2. Navigate to the Settings section.
  3. Tap Refresh Portal Metadata.
