Zoho Desk: Enhances Login Security and User Experience – June ’25 Update

As part of our continued efforts to improve user experience and strengthen security, Zoho rolling out important updates to the authentication process within Zoho Desk. These changes are aimed at making password recovery easier and the sign-in experience faster and more secure.


The updates cover three essential areas of the login system: the Sign-in page, the Forgot Password page, and the recovery email template. Here's a closer look at what’s new:Key changes

Refreshed Sign-in Page 
 
The redesigned Sign-in interface brings a cleaner, more intuitive layout that simplifies logging in. With improved backend performance, users can expect quicker access to their accounts. On the security front, we’ve implemented advanced encryption techniques to ensure that login credentials remain protected at all times.

Updated Forgot Password Page 

Zoho reimagined the password recovery page to offer smoother navigation and clearer guidance. New validation features have been introduced to prevent misuse and make the process more reliable. As part of the improved workflow, users will now receive real-time OTPs (One-Time Passwords) to ensure a secure and speedy password reset.

Revamped Recovery Email Template  

The password reset email has been redesigned to deliver clear instructions and a more intuitive flow. It now includes enhanced content that helps users act quickly and safely. Each email contains a time-sensitive link, which ensures that password resets are both secure and prompt.

QuotePasswords frequently serve as the initial barrier to protection, but they also represent one of the most prevalent vulnerabilities. 

How It Works  
Once a user enters their registered email address, the system will immediately prompt the OTP input screen. Simultaneously, a One-Time Password and reset link will be sent to their inbox. Upon entering the correct OTP, users will be able to create a new password and regain access—safely and confidently.
