Zoho CRM Now Supports MS Teams Phone Integration

Zoho roll out one of our most important feature updates yet!

Zoho CRM now integrates with Microsoft Teams’ phone system, giving users a powerful way to make calls, log interactions, and manage follow-ups—all from within the CRM.

With this update, Zoho taking our MS Teams integration beyond just chats. Zoho introducing voice call capabilities today, and in the near future, we'll be adding online meeting integration as well.

The setup is quick and simple. All it takes is a few steps to install Microsoft Teams from the Zoho CRM Telephony Marketplace and link it to your CRM account. Once integrated, you can make cloud-based calls to your leads, contacts, or vendors right from within your CRM modules.

During the configuration, you can also assign calling permissions to specific users and update these setting anytime.

What You Need Before You Begin  

  • An active Microsoft Teams account

  • Access to Azure Communication Services


What You Can Do with This Integration  

Place Calls Easily  

Launch voice calls straight from CRM using Microsoft Teams as your VOIP system. Once set as your default telephony provider, simply head to any module to begin calling.

Log Calls Automatically  

Every call you make is recorded in the Calls module, giving you a complete communication history. You can also view call analytics and generate reports whenever needed.

Add Post-Call Actions  

Once the call ends, you can log notes, schedule future calls or meetings, and assign follow-up tasks—all within Zoho CRM.

Get Incoming Call Alerts  

Get real-time caller notifications on your screen. You’ll also see relevant customer details right away, so you’re always prepared to answer with context.


Convert Unknown Numbers Automatically  

With Workflow Rules, you can set up automations that convert new or unknown numbers into CRM records automatically.
