Zoho CRM Introduces Smart Enhancements to WhatsApp for Business Messaging

WhatsApp for Business is a widely used messaging platform that helps businesses connect with their customers on a more personal level. With Zoho CRM's WhatsApp integration, you have been managing and sending personalized messages effortlessly. To enhance your experience, we have introduced three new features to provide better clarity and context:
Manual chat initiation
Threaded responses
Audio file previews

Manual chat initiation
Previously, business messages in Zoho CRM were primarily sent through automated processes. You were able to use Meta-approved message templates as notification actions within Workflow rules, Blueprint, and Journey Builder.
Now, with this update, you can manually start conversations with leads and customers. In addition to setting messages as automated actions, you can directly send message templates from the record or the Messages module.
Threaded responses
Context is key when communicating, and threaded replies bring a structured way to respond to specific messages within a conversation. Also known as inline messages or conversational replies, this feature allows you to reply to a particular message without losing context.
With threaded replies, you can choose any message in the chat and respond to it. The reply will display both the new and the referenced message, providing better clarity for both your team and the customer, reducing any potential confusion.Audio file previews
Audio messages are becoming increasingly popular for customers to express their needs or share ideas, particularly in creative industries where audio samples and voice notes play a vital role.
Previously, listening to audio messages required downloading the file, which posed security and privacy concerns and increased the risk of misplacing files. To solve this, we have introduced an audio preview feature, allowing you to listen to audio files directly within Zoho CRM before choosing to download them if needed.
These updates are designed to bring greater convenience to your WhatsApp for Business experience in Zoho CRM.
