WhatsApp Joins the Cadence Family!
Up until now, Cadences have allowed you to follow up automatically via emails, calls, and tasks—a neat trio for nurturing leads.
Now, Zoho is adding a new member to the crew: WhatsApp.
Yes, you read that right. You can now add WhatsApp messages as steps in your Cadence workflows, sitting alongside your emails, calls, and tasks.

Picture this: You're a retail brand offering festive deals to new customers. With this update, your Cadence can start with a warm WhatsApp greeting and special offer. If the customer responds, follow it up with a scheduled call to chat about more deals—automatically. No extra manual work. Maximum reach. 
WhatsApp support is live for both Leads and Contacts.

Here's how to use it:
While building your Cadence, simply add WhatsApp as a follow-up step.
Pick a pre-approved WhatsApp template (like a discount, reminder, or feedback request).
Set a time for the message to go out—just like you would for an email or a call.
Let CRM auto-decide the next step based on the delivery success or failure of the WhatsApp message.
And yes, you can use WhatsApp responses in reports, filters, or as criteria for stopping the Cadence.
It’s automation with a human touch—via the world’s favorite chat app.

Cadence Limits Just Got a Big Boost
Growing fast? Need more follow-ups and parallel campaigns? We’ve got your back.

What’s changed:
You can now create and activate more Cadences per module than ever before.
No more being bound by type-specific limits! Instead of X emails or Y calls, you now get combined limits across all follow-up types—email, call, task, and now WhatsApp—in any mix you want.
And here’s the best part: if you need more Cadence slots, just buy add-ons. No need to upgrade your main CRM plan.


For example:
Say you’re on the Standard edition of Zoho CRM. You normally get:
20 Cadences created per module
10 active Cadences at a time

But now, if you want to run 30 Cadences concurrently, just purchase 20 extra slots.
That gives you:
40 created (20 base + 20 add-on)
30 active (10 base + 20 add-on)
It’s flexible, affordable, and designed to grow with your business—without changing your current subscription.

Smarter Permission Controls for Cadences
Previously, you had to grant someone full Automation privileges just to let them manage Cadences. Not anymore.
Now, you can:
Grant “View” or “Manage” Cadence access as standalone permissions.
