Zoho have been steadily enhancing the forecasting capabilities in Zoho CRM, and as part of our #CRM25Q1 updates, we’re thrilled to introduce a powerful new addition: anomaly detection in forecasting.

Forecast reports are essential tools that provide insights into your sales team’s performance. Until now, Zoho CRM has enabled you to compare each team member’s results against their assigned targets to gauge progress. However, tracking progress alone doesn’t always give the full picture. Sales leaders need to be alerted when unexpected changes — positive or negative — could impact revenue.

Say hello to anomaly detection for sales results  

An anomaly refers to any unusual drop or spike in regular sales patterns. With this enhancement, Zia now flags anomalies in forecast reports, giving sales leaders weekly insights into irregularities in individual performance.

Each week, Zia will analyze a salesperson’s recent achievements, estimate their projected outcomes, and highlight any significant variances in revenue performance.

Sales managers can also look back at previously identified anomalies to get a deeper understanding of long-term patterns and performance fluctuations.
