Preferences

In the preferences section, you can perform the following:
  1. Change date format
  2. Change profile picture visibility
  3. Enable or disable email notifications

Change date format

You can select a specific date format to be used for Activity Sessions, Activity History, App Sign-Ins, and email notifications. You can either select a pre-defined date format from the list of options available, or you can set a custom date format.

To select a date format:
  1. Sign in at accounts.zoho.com.
  2. Click Settings in the left menu, and make sure you are in Preferences.
  3. Now to select the date format you want, click Date Format field and select your prefer date format from the pre-defined Date Format.

  4. If you want to set a custom date format:
    1. In the Date Format field, select Custom.
    2. Enter the required date format.
    3. Click Save.

Change profile picture visibility

You can restrict your Zoho account's profile picture visibility to a preferred set of users. You can select one from the following options:
  1. Only registered Zoho users
  2. Only contacts I chat with
  3. Only users in my organization
  4. Everyone 
  5. Only myself
To select who can view your Zoho account profile picture:
  1. Sign in at accounts.zoho.com.
  2. Click Settings in the left menu, then click Preferences.
  3. Select your preferred option in Profile Picture Visibility.

Enable or disable email notifications

From Zoho Accounts, the following emails will be sent to you. Some of them are enabled by default. However, you can choose to disable the notifications you don't need.
  1. Password expiration alert
    This email notification is sent to you when your Zoho account's password is about to expire based on your organization's policy. Your organization would have set an expiration time for your password and you must change your password before the expiration time. You will not see this alert in your Preferences, if no such policies apply in your organization.
  1. New sign-in to your account alert
    This email notification is sent to you when your Zoho account is signed-in to from a new device, browser, or location. You cannot disable this email notification if it is enforced by the admin.

  1. Third-party app access alert
    This email notification is sent to you whenever your Zoho account is signed in to a new third-party app (i.e., IMAP/POP clients such as mail apps and calendar apps) or whenever an already signed-in third-party app accesses your Zoho account from a new location. You cannot disable this email notification if it is enforced by the admin.

  1. Newsletter subscription 
    This email notification is sent to you by Zoho or its regional partners, and will contain information on Zoho's products, services, and events. 
To enable or disable an email notification:
  1. Sign in at accounts.zoho.com.
  2. Click Settings in the left menu, then click Preferences.
  3. Under Email notifications, enable or disable the required email notifications.

Authorized Websites 

Authorized websites are the websites you have granted permission to access your Zoho account. 
To view or remove the websites:
  1. Sign in to your accounts.zoho.com.
  2. Click Authorized Websites under Settings.
  3. Click the website you want to view or remove.
  4. Click Revoke Access to prevent the website from accessing your Zoho account.

Linked Accounts

Linked Accounts are the third-party online accounts that you've linked with your Zoho account. You can sign in to your Zoho account using these linked accounts via federated sign-in.

To add a linked account:
  1. Sign in to your accounts.zoho.com.
  2. Click Linked Accounts under Settings.
  3. Click Add New Account, then select the account you want to add.
  4. Sign in to the selected account to link it to your Zoho account.
To remove a linked account:
  1. Sign in to your accounts.zoho.com.
  2. Click Linked Accounts under Settings.
  3. Hover over the account you want to delete and click  .
  4. Click Remove.
