Close your Zoho account/organization (for multi-user organizations)

Note: If yours is a personal account or a single-user organization account, refer to this help article for instructions. This article is only applicable to organization accounts with multiple users present.

Closing your Zoho account will result in of all of your data being permanently deleted.
  1. If you're an organization user, you have to contact your organization admin to close your Zoho account.
  1. If you are an organization admin:
    1. Sign in to your Zoho account at accounts.zoho.com.
    2. Click Settings in the left menu, then scroll down to the Close Account section.
    3. Click Close Organization. You will be redirected to the Zoho Mail control panel.
      Note: If you don't have a Zoho Mail account already, you will be asked to create one. Enter the name of your organization, then click Create.  
    4. Delete your organization from the control panel. To delete your organization, the following steps should be done before:
      1. Remove all the users from your organization.
      2. Delete all the domains in your organization.
      3. Cancel the trail/subscription if you are a part of bundles such as Zoho One, Zoho Directory, Workplace, or PeoplePlus. Refer to the below links for instructions. (Please note that if you're using both Zoho One and Zoho Directory, you must cancel both.)
        1. Cancel Zoho One trial or subscription
        2. Delete Zoho Directory account
        3. Cancel Workplace trial or subscription
        4. Cancel PeoplePlus trial or subscription
    5. After deleting the organization, return to Zoho Accounts.
    6. Click Settings in the left menu, then scroll down to the Close Account section.
    7. Click Close Account. Enter your password if prompted.
    8. Select a reason for closing your account, then click Close Account.
